Q. How do I clean my DVD or CD?
A. To insure your media lasts please observe these handling and care tips.
- Only handle discs by their outer edge.
- Never touch the non-labeled side of the disc or set it down on a hard surface.
- Store the disc in the protective case it came with.
- If the disc needs to be cleaned, use a clean, lint-free cloth and use a wiping motion from the center toward the outside edge of the disc. Do not use abrasives or solvents to clean. Only use CD/DVD cleaning solutions as a last resort, as they can damage the disc.
- Store at temperatures between 23-86 degrees (F.)
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or leave in a hot or humid location, as this could warp or damage the disc.
- Do not allow moisture to condense on the disc or come in contact with it.
