"And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."  -Revelation 7:2-3

FAQ - What is AVCHD?

“AVCHD (Advanced Video Coding High Definition) is a file-based format for the digital recording and playback of high-definition video.”

“AVCHD is compatible with the Blu-ray disc format and can be authored without re-encoding on Blu-ray discs or DVDs, though not all Blu-ray Disc players are compatible with AVCHD video authored on DVD media, a format known as AVCHD disc.”   -Wikipedia.com

Our AVCHD discs are Blu-ray discs. This format will only play in a Blu-ray player with the AVCHD feature. Please check your Blu-ray player's manufacturer specifications to be sure it plays AVCHD before ordering this product.

What makes AVCHD better than DVD or Blu-ray?

  • Up to 10 hours of High Definition video on a single disc.
  • Clearer and sharper than DVD.
  • Comparable or better than standard Blu-ray.
  • Most complete series fit on one disc which reduces production costs and saves you money.
  • Reduced cost = easier sharing.
  • Less packaging, less waste.
  • Better menus.
  • More convenient to carry only one disc vs. multiple.
  • All AVCHD Blu-ray players are backwards compatible, which means they will play standard Blu-rays, DVD, CDs and MP3 formats as well as some have the ability to display pictures or movies from a USB flash drive.

Where can I purchase an AVCHD player?

  • Available at nearly all local retailers such as WalMart, BestBuy, Kmart, etc.

How much does an AVCHD player cost?

  • Average costs start at ~$59, and go up as you add additional features such as network and/or wireless connectivity.

Are there any particular brands that you recommend?

  • At this point, we have tested our discs with Panasonic, Philips and Sony AVCHD players.       These players will play back every type of media in our catalog.

Please contact us if you have any questions. If you are interested, but aren’t sure of what or where to buy one of these players, we would be happy to purchase one for you and include it with your order. This will help take the guesswork out of compatibility issues. You will need to include an extra minimum amount of $59 +tax.

These players will play all previous year complete MP3 discs.
